Mohan Gehani is a noted Sindhi scholar, playwright. translator and poet. With this latest compilation of his previous speeches, he discusses Sindhi Literature and how various historical influences gave rise to a series of genres, expressions, trends and so on. This book expresses the trends in literature, both in Mohan Gehani’s own words and through the words and biographical accounts of various Sindhi Literature such as Popati Hiranandani as well as International names such as Marx. 

Some iconic parts of the book includes the injustice of Sindhi being included as one of the Languages in the Eight Schedule of the Indian Constitution during the partition, the greatness of Shah Abdul Latif and the rise of Sufi Poetry or even the personal tales of horror during partition.
