Popati Hiranandani

Popati Hiranandani’s (1924-2005) literary contribution speaks about her indomitable spirit. She was not only active as an able organizer who was constantly on the move to mobilize the community for the cause of “Sindhiyat” but had also contributed a sizeable body of literature connected with the movement of “Sindhiyat” and her unflinching commitment to Sindhi community.

Popati Hiranandani has written her autobiography ‘ Muhinji Hayati a ja Sona ropa warq’. ( Golden and Silver pages of my life.) Therefore it would be apt to delve into it and give some glimpses of her life and upbringing.

Maybe after a few generations some deep diver will come and bring out the pearls of Popati’s writings on the surface. Their brilliance and splendor will itself proclaim its value.
